Ewa Bachminska is a full teaching professor at Cornell University, offering all levels of Polish and a film analysis course, Animals in Global Cinema. In the past, she taught Spanish and German. She holds a PhD in Animal Science with minors in Slavic Linguistics, Film Studies, and Wildlife Conservation from Cornell. Her PhD dissertation is titled “Count Me In: Including Animals in Language Classes and Teaching about Animals Through Film.” Her first MA is in Applied Linguistics from Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding on trails.
