Katarzyna Dziwirek is a professor of Polish at the University of Washington in Seattle. She holds her PhD from the University of California, San Diego, and her MA in English from the University of Łódź. Her areas of study include syntax, morphology, typology, corpus linguistics, cross-cultural semantics and pragmatics, and bilingualism.
