Krzysztof E. Borowski is a Lecturer in Polish Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, specializing in Polish language and culture. He earned his PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Kansas and holds an MA in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Languages and Literatures from the University of Wrocław, Poland.

Previously, he has taught Polish at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Kansas. His pedagogical interests focus on new technologies in the teaching of Polish language and culture. In February 2024, he presented at the UW–Madison Research Bazaar on using the Python programming language to develop an automated verb conjugator for Polish.

His recent language teaching publication, “Digital Humanities and Technology in Teaching Polish Language and Culture: Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic,” appeared in an online pedagogy forum in The Slavic and East European Journal (SEEJ).
