Ewa Bachmińska is a senior lecturer of Polish at Cornell University where she teaches all levels of Polish and a film analysis course Animals in Global Cinema. In the past, she taught German and Spanish. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, an MA in Music (Vocal Jazz), and an MA in Spanish, both from the US. Currently, she’s a PhD candidate in Animal Science with minors in Slavic Linguistics, Film Studies, and Wildlife Conservation at Cornell. In her research, she compares American bison with their European counterparts in Poland.
